If you have forgotten your password, you can have it sent to the email address registered for your Portal account.

From the main Portal web page, select the "Forgot your password?" link.

You will need to correctly enter your Domain and your User ID.  If your account can be authenticated, your password will be emailed to you.

To sign in to the Joprix Enterprise Portal, you will need to enter your Domain, User ID, and password.

Once authenticated, you can begin using the Portal to access and maintain your shared documents.

Register for a Portal account

To register for an account in your organization's Domain, you will need to use the "Register for a Portal account" link on the Portal web page.

You will need to supply the following information to register an account.

Domain: Your organization's Joprix Enterprise Portal domain.
User ID: The User ID you will be using for all future logons to the Joprix Enterprise Portal.
Password: The password you will be using to for all future logons to the Joprix Enterprise Portal.

If you forget your password, you will be able to retrieve it later and have it sent to the email address assigned to your account.

You can change this value after logging on to the Joprix Enterprise Portal by using the "Administrator / User Admin" menu.

Confirm Password: You must confirm the password entered above to complete the registration.
First Name: Enter your first name.

You can change this value after logging on to the Joprix Enterprise Portal by using the "Administrator / User Admin" menu.

Last Name: Enter your last name.

You can change this value after logging on to the Joprix Enterprise Portal by using the "Administrator / User Admin" menu.

Email Address: Enter your standard email address.  This address must be accurate as a account activation email from your administrator will be sent to the email address registered that will enable you to complete the registration process.

You can change this value after logging on to the Joprix Enterprise Portal by using the "Administrator / User Admin" menu.

Time Zone: Enter the time zone you wish to use.  All date and time values displayed in the Joprix Enterprise Portal will be localized to correspond to your time zone.

The Joprix Enterprise Portal provides many valuable features.

A central document repository that maintains the most accurate version of the documents you and all others need in your organization to be efficient and productive.

Powerful, unique, and innovative ways of organizing and finding the documents and data that you need to locate.

Version control which allows you to access any previous versions of each document and lets you see who made the changes, what the changes were, and when the changes were made.

"Subscribe" to a folder or to a document. This allows the system to send you an alert anytime the document is updated or even when a new document is added.

The Joprix Enterprise Portal allows you to quickly create a Portal that is easy to navigate and simple to maintain. The Joprix Enterprise Portal ensures that the end users can quickly and easily access all the documents and data they need to perform their jobs.

The problem of finding and using the latest version of your corporate / enterprise / organization documents is  eliminated as the Joprix Enterprise Portal is your central document repository for all your documents.

The Joprix Enterprise Portal maintains any type of document that you want to include.  In addition to maintaining a repository of your physical documents, the Joprix Enterprise Portal also allows you to include any web page or document available on the Internet. Making both your physical documents and Internet content (and files) readily available makes for a powerful solution for your business to increase it's effectiveness and productivity.

The Joprix Enterprise Portal provides powerful audit reports that show who is adding documents, who is accessing documents, when the documents where updated/added, which project the changes are associated with. Reports also detail the frequency each document is being accessed. Which are most frequently used, which are infrequently or never used, and allows you to adjust the method that the end users access documents to improve their access potential. In short - you'll be able to easily access all the statistical information needed to analyze the use of your Portal.

The architecture behind the Joprix Enterprise Portal has been designed to minimize the expense on overhead of maintaining an in house solution.  The Portal is a web based application that uses a local repository to store the actual documents. Requirements for the Joprix Enterprise Portal

Accessing the Joprix Enterprise Portal requires no additional software other than a web browser.  All standard web browsers are supported.

The documents accessed through the Joprix Enterprise Portal will be displayed using the software program used to create the document.  For example: MS Word will be used to open .doc documents, Visio will be used to open .vsd documents.  To open the documents stored on the Joprix Enterprise Portal, the end user's PC will need to have the desired software programs that are normally used to open the target documents.

Notification for new or updated documents

The Joprix Enterprise Portal allows each end user to "subscribe" to each document.  An email will be sent to the end user each time the file is updated.  Notifications can be sent as soon as the modification is made, or can be grouped with other notifications and sent daily, weekly, monthly, etc.  File folders can also be subscribed to.  A folder subscription will send the end user a  notification anytime a document is added or updated in the folder.
